It’s summertime – which means the poor graduate student is opening up for commissions. I moved this month, and expenses are tighter than I would like, so I thought, why not see if anyone wishes to utilize my most fantastic drawing skills. I will admit that they aren’t quite as fantastic as my writing skills, but we make due.

So here is the deal. I will draw your OC’s. fan-art, photos, etc.

$7 for one character - color
$8 for a couple – color
$6 for lineart one character no color.

I wont draw furries – cause I don’t really know how. And full nudity would be a challenge, but I wouldn’t necessarily be against it. I will draw almost anything. So comment – note – etc and let me know if you are interested.

Drawing will be in 8x10 paper and colored with Prismacolor art markers or Prismacolor pencils. Your choice. I will need either a reference picture or a detailed description. And if you want them looking anything other than mildly pleasant I need to know if they are an angstry grumpy individual, or a bimbo, etc.

*FACTS*

1. Many of the stories that i choose to develop stem from ideas that are at least 10 year old. The epic that I am writing was started middle school/high school ish. And that was at least 10 years ago. I was a brilliantly creative teenager it seems. I find that the base ideas are good though they have morphed and changed to mature as i have matured.

2. Other than curing cancer my other dream is to be a cross between J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling. We shall see if i suceed. I am about a third done with writing my epic (whose character designs you tend to see in my journal.

3. When I was much much younger (before puberty) i wanted to be a model. I thought (mistakenly) that i was cute enough for it. However as i grew it became uite obvious that my body type is not "model" material

4. despite having a career that is about strict adherence to protocols when i cook i dont use a recipie. i add things by flavor and instinct, and when i bake it is by smell and color - not my timer. odd i know, but i suppose it is a form of rebellion and a method of creativity.

5. i think i have every single vice that a "geek/dork" could have. i do research (biology research). i play video games. i like anime. i like manga. I am not opposed to american comics. i have RPGed before. in real life (though it has been years ((mippa if you were back in SA do you think it would happen again or have we grown out of it? )) i blay board games. not D&D but i own several "gateway" games and intend on owning more. i have a decently extenseive collection of sci-fi anf fantasy novels (i have four bookcases in my room right now (2 six foot, 1 five foot and 1 fout foot) and i am ok with these things. i like what i like.

6. i have the wierdest comfort foods. i crave sushi. i crave soba and edamame. i crave doctor pepper. and i crave peanut butter (thats more normal but still). i dont know what it is, but when i am tensed and stressed - the craving for japanese foods begins. and i think i am psycologically addicted to dr. pepper. a feel a migraine coming on dr. pepper can delay it. blood sugar is plummeting dr. pepper and nothing else will help. its odd. and raw salmon is the best thing ever. EVER!

7. I think the creativity is ingrained in my somehow. Caitlin and I would sit in the closet in the old house and play dolls with stuffed animals and the like. I remeber us being occupied for what seems like hours sitting in the closet acting out these intricate stories.

8. I have a secret addiction to James bond movies. I want to be him.

I have also been playing with the style of eyes of my drawings. And the face shape. I might upload some tonight - i did a sketch of me - that iwill color for my new ID and then my orig characters. Thats about it for now.

I know that everone uses Copic markers - but i will be getting a set of prismacolor art markers at the beginning of the month. i will them resubmit a lot of my stuff with color - since i will be playing with my new markers go me
